A Room With A View

It’s so good to have a new professional home!

For the past year, I’ve been in a functional office (see the photo) that took some effort for me to make reasonably pretty. My office actually looked nice and welcoming considering that the waiting area was a dismal gray box with fluorescent lighting. Here’s my old place:

The old place — farewell!

One of my clients told me that when she came for her first session and sat waiting for me to take her into my pretty room, that the rest of the suite and even the building was “off-brand.”

Lol — she was right. I am not a gray, fluorescent light and wall-hangings-from-circa-1992 kind of woman.

I worked it out, though, and was proud of my space, but I decided that when my lease was up on September 30th, it was time for me to make a move to something a little more modern, AND, most importantly — for it to be a space with a window!

Welcome to a (very short) video tour of 119 South Sherrin Avenue,, Suite 220, in Louisville.

Welcome to my window (and my clients’ window, too) — a room with a view. It’s just the first day that I literally walked in the door, so I’ve got some work to do and I’ll share that with you soon.

It’s really important to me to have a beautiful and welcoming space for the people who work with me on their lives, and well, for me. I spend a lot of time there.

One of the things I talk about when I am counseling or coaching a lot of women are their physical spaces.

What’s their bedroom like? Does it feel like an oasis or a depository for baskets of laundry and a chair that functions as a closet?

There’s no judgment here, because I know my home has those spaces, too; however, I am always thinking about and creating ways for my spaces to be more beautiful and welcoming for myself and people who enter my home.

Our minds are impacted by that. Cluttered, ambiguous spaces equal a cluttered and ambiguous mind.

Cleared areas with elements of beauty equal beautiful clarity in the mind.

So consider that video the “before” of this new space. I’ll catch up with you again soon to show you the finished product with furniture, things hanging on the wall, lighting and flooring.

Finally, I am accepting two new clients who want to work with me in this fabulous clean and well-lit space. Interested? Email me at laura@laura-wagner.com and let’s talk.

Did you know I have a FREE, private Facebook community called Women On The MOVE.

You’ll meet lots of other women who love life and crave that “something more,” too.

I’m in there every day sharing resources, offering support, asking provocative questions and sharing new ideas with all of you.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/2031495170440337/ to apply to join.

What do you want?

It can be anything from a new job to traveling the world to figuring out exactly what the hell it is you do want to do.

That’s where I come in with my triple threat skills as a therapist, life coaching and fitness / wellness professional. I help women figure out what they want and how they’re going to get it.

It’s sacred, life-changing work and I’m really good at it. It’s fierce and fun — a lot like me.

I work with face-to-face with my clients in my Louisville, Kentucky office or in phone sessions with women across the country.

Results gained from those women in my care this year alone?

  • Safe, sustainable and nurturing weight loss ( losing anywhere from 15 – 40 lbs.  – so far – among my clients who focused on this as a goal for 2018).
  • Commitment to moving their bodies on a consistent basis as related to fitness goals AND (this is really important) a portal into other areas of their lives. When you move your body on purpose, other things come through: decisions to be made, new ideas, how to act on new ideas, upleveling care for yourself in every area of your life
  • Leaving unhealthy, soul-sucking jobs or careers and getting into fulfilling employment or entrepreneurial endeavors.
  • Working with spouse or partner to make clear decisions on the direction of an unsteady or troubled relationship. When it’s time to close the door to the past and move forward in a new way, I’m there to help my clients navigate those waters and make tough decisions about matters of the heart.

How can we connect?

You can work with me session-by-session by phone or at my office in Louisville … but if you really want to reap the rewards of ongoing work with intensive connection and accountability from me (I’m in your business for more than an hour as a time, I can assure you), then my Body of Work coaching process is for you.

Check it out.

If you’re ready to move forward, let’s connect with each other on a  free consultation / discovery call so we can get going.
