So are you ready for your close-up on this — the 2013th take on life — brought to you by the universe?
I am. I took January’s hand from a different place than I usually do at the end of one year going into another. Instead of fireworks-from-my-fingertips kind of lift-off, I am walking into this year from a place of quiet intention, healing, focus and love.
For me, 2012 was brimming with triumphs and strides, but I will also share that I struggled during the last weeks of this year. There were many contributing factors and I’m sure I will unpack them as I write some of my posts this year. What I know for sure now is that I am beginning to see what I needed to learn from that time and those struggles. I am moving forward from a place of curiosity and peace and that feels good.
So let’s get down to business here, because I have been away for awhile and it feels good to be writing and creating again. I’ve got goings-ons this month, this winter, and this spring, so I hope you’ll find something that resonates with you among these offerings. They both involve envisioning what you want in your life this year, setting intentions or goals and taking inspired action to make things happen.
Unfolding Your Life Vision Workshop
The work of this workshop involves the fun process of creating a vision board, but with a very different twist. This one is portable so you don’t have to lug a piece of posterboard or corkboard along the streets as the talisman for your dreams and desires.
I am a lucky girl for many reasons, and one of those is that I am a licensed facilitator of this particular workshop to guide women through an engaging and creative process to craft a personal vision for 2013. If any of you are already questioning your creative abilities to participate in this adventure, I am already dismantling your argument against yourself. A.) Everyone is creative. That’s a fact. 2.) If you can fold paper and use a pair of scissors, you’re also qualified.
The Unfolding Your Life Vision Workshop (yes, click that purple-y link) will be held at my Louisville office on Saturday, January 12, 2013, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The workshop includes all supplies and materials; my loving and masterful guidance; fun, laughter and connection with other women — oh, and light refreshments — all for a mere $69. BUT, if you register through January 8th, the cost is just $59. Go visit the page to get your spot now — the space in the room I am utilizing is limited, so this will fill up quickly.
7:00 – 8:00 P.M. EST
(6:00 – 7:00 P.M. CST 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. MST 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. PST)
So the holidays are over and while some experience a measure of relief around that fact, it’s possible that you might be hauling some residual stress (or maybe brand new stress) into 2013. Maybe this has to do with relationship issues, money, your body / your weight, or the deeper onset of the winter blues as we move into January and February.
During this free call, I will be sharing some very helpful, practical, and loving ideas so you can decide how 2013 can be instead of sliding into a state of “what happened to me this year?” Want to know the coolest part? I am not flying solo on this — in addition to LMFT-life coach me, you will also glean wisdom from my coaching colleague-yoga instructor extraordinaire, Stacey Shanks, AND (yeah, there’s more) Kay Corpus, M.D., an integrative medicine physician and yogini.
You will come away from the call with 10 techniques you can apply to your life immediately to effect change. The three of us are so excited about this collaboration. We are big believers in women championing one another and partnering to lift one another up so that we may touch many more along the way. Come hang out with us — it’s going to be informative, fun, interactive and positive. To “attend” the call, you need to register for it by clicking here.
That’s all for now — and that’s quite a lot. I’ll be following up in the weeks to come with lots of a good stuff — including a some fun social-girly-painting-and-sipping playtime. Yep, I’m taking it out of the office and into the streets, people! It’s a going to be a beautiful year. Cheers!
